This month's recipe is a simple way to make broccoli into something memorable.

Meyer Lemon Broccoli Florets

1 to 2 lbs fresh broccoli florets
2 to 4 TBSP Bistro Blends Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Meyer Lemon
Salt and freshly ground pepper

Half fill a large sauce pan with water, add salt, and bring to a boil. Add the broccoli florets and blanch them for five (5) minutes. They should still be green and firm. Drain them immediatelly and place in a large bowl. Drizzle with Bistro Blends Extra Virgin Olive Oil with Meyer Lemon. Season to taste with salt and freshly ground pepper and lightly toss.
