Truffles are the subterranean cousin to mushrooms so famously hunted by hogs in Eastern Europe. Our Bistro Blends White Truffle Oil uses a light olive oil into which truffles are steeped slowly so that the oil is infused with the best aroma and flavor. Then all the particulate is removed leaving a light golden truffle-flavored oil that can be used as an aromatic finishing oil to delight the senses.

Use Bistro Blends White Truffle Oil as a butter replacement on hot starches like mashed or baked potatoes. As an aromatic finishing oil, it is also is a great topper for cream soups or bisques. Try drizzling it on top of bowls of home-made cream of mushroom soup or a nice thick chowder or over hot asparagus. It also works well with mushroom risotto. Drizzle it on the dish at the table for maximum aroma.

This idea was sent to us by one of our customers and has become Shoshana's favorite. She starts by oven baking frozen French Fries. When they are done she sprinkles them with Bistro Blends White Truffle Oil , salt and grated Parmesan Cheese. From the speed at which they disappear, she must be on to something!!!!!
